Test, don’t guess.

Chelsea is trained to use labs as a tool to uncover imbalances, dysfunction and look for the underlying cause(s) of persistent health issues.  We believe in bio-individuality and understand that what works for one person may not work for another. Chelsea does not treat or diagnose, but use these assessment tools alongside nutrition, supplements and lifestyle strategies to restore balance and support the body’s natural ability to heal. The goal is not just disease prevention, but helping you thrive.

Please note: labs are only available to clients—we do not offer testing to the general public.

Functional Lab Testing

GI Map

Digestion is the top healing priority of the body. You are what you digest and ABSORB. What you absorb depends on a healthy digestive tract.

Without the integrity of the digestive system, the body cannot support the other foundations of health.

A GI MAP stool test looks all aspects of your digestion

•how well you are breaking down your foods

(You can eat the best diet in the world, but are you absorbing all of the nutrients?)

•pancreatic function (how well you break down protein, carbs, fats)

•gallbladder function (how well you break down fat)

•inflammation marker

•immune function (80% of the immune system is in the gut!)

•If you have any pathogens (bacteria, HPylori, viruses, yeast, Candida, parasites, bacterial overgrowth)

•If you are making gluten antibodies in the gut

•how well you are detoxing hormones (estrogen) and environmental toxins, plus so much more. This is important for hormone balance.

Most people don’t realize the impact the health of the gut has on the body and it shows differently in everyone (digestive issues, weight loss resistance, joint pain, bloat, constipation, acne, hormonal imbalances, migraines, anxiety, mood) Sometimes you have ZERO symptoms but still need some gut healing or to improve overall digestion.

Things like antibiotics, poor diet, alcohol, stress, toxins, mold, pesticides can all take a toll on the gut.

Nutritional Deficiency Panel

NutrEval is both a blood and urine profile that evaluates over 125 biomarkers and assesses the body's functional need for 40 antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, amino acids, oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, digestive support, and other select nutrients.

MRT Food Sensitivity Test

This test measures how strongly your immune system reacts to 140 different foods and 30 different chemicals. This is the one and only food sensitivity test I can trust. This can help you understand even the most mysterious food sensitivities. You can be eating a healthy diet, but if you’re eating foods you’re uniquely sensitive to, you won’t get very far. Removing these sensitivities is an essential step in healing your gut and reversing possible autoimmunity as reducing the cause of inflammation allows your gut lining to heal. And it isn’t enough to simply KNOW your sensitivities, the magic happens when you have the correct blueprint and system that shows you how to actually use the findings to get RESULTS.

Total Tox Burden

Every day, we are exposed to hundreds of toxic chemicals through products like pharmaceuticals, pesticides, packaged foods, household products, and environmental pollution.

This urine test screens for 39 of the most inflammatory environmental toxins, 31 mycotoxins (from mold) and 20 of the most common heavy metals.

Organic Acids (OAT)

This is a urine test that offers a comprehensive metabolic snapshot of a patient’s overall health with 76 markers. It provides an accurate evaluation of intestinal yeast (mold & candida) and bacteria. It also includes markers for vitamin and mineral levels, oxidative stress, neurotransmitter levels, and is the only OAT to include markers for oxalates, which are highly correlated with many chronic illnesses.  High levels of intestinal yeast or bacteria can cause or worsen behavior disorders, hyperactivity, movement disorders, fatigue and immune function. Many people with chronic illnesses and neurological disorders often excrete several abnormal organic acids in their urine. The cause of these high levels could include oral antibiotic use, high sugar diets, immune deficiencies, acquired infections, as well as genetic factors.
